This is The Number Seven speaking. I am playing the role of one of THE LUNA BROTHERS in Mrs Noughtfear's Number Story, as the A in QUEENSLAND. Seven is the best place in the world to start with The Times Tables, and the rest are easy. Have a look at Mister Numbers method of teaching The Seven Times Table. Then have a look at my way and see which is easier for you.
If you think Seven is difficult, Seven times Seven must be really scary. So let's start with Seven times Seven. Notice the number is to be mutiplied by itself. That's called squaring a number. So let your fingers do the dancing on the screen. Don't be scared, touch me, The Number Seven, with one finger, then touch Four and Nine with two fingers and say 7 x 7 = 49. Repeat it and remember it.This is your foundation for learning all The Times Tables.
Let's do One, Two and Three times Seven. Touch One and Seven and say One times Seven is Seven. Then touch Two and say Two times Seven is Fourteen as you touch One and Four. Then touch Three and say Three times Seven is Twenty One as you touch Two and One. Repeat these three dance steps until you remember the answers. Notice the answers are near each other.
Let's do Four, Five and Six times Seven. Put one finger on Four and hopscotch onto Two and Eight as you say Four times Seven is Twenty Eight. Then one finger on Five and say Five times Seven is Thirty Five as you touch Three and Five. Then one finger on Six and say Six times Seven is Forty Two as you touch Four and Two. Notice Thirty Five goes down at an angle and Forty Two goes up the opposite way. Repeat until you remember the steps, and start from One up to Six. Notice the answers are near each other.
Let's do Seven, Eight and Nine times Seven. Do you remember we started of with Seven times Seven as our foundation lesson? No need to dance it, you are always to remember it. Put your
finger on Eight and say Eight times Seven is Fifty Six as you touch Five and Six next to each other. Finish off with one finger on Nine and say Nine times Seven is Sixty Three as you touch Six and Three next to each other. Repeat until you remember how to notice the answers near each other.
These steps may sound long winded but they can be done in seconds. As the answers are near each other, it shouldn't take too long to master The Seven Times Table. There is no need to go above Nine times Seven as it is important to master multiplying with single digits.

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU'RE BLACK OR WHITE
